Dr. Richard Niederman is professor and chair, Department of Epidemiology & Health Promotion at New York University College of Dentistry, and Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center for Quality-improvement, Evidence-based Dentistry (QED). Graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, he is a leading expert on evidence-based oral health care and author of more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles. His work, over the last 15 years, focuses on creation, promotion and implementation of school-based caries prevention programs in the US. Currently he is managing some of the largest cavity prevention programs in the US (in New York City and New Hampshire). Rick is Chief Executive Officer of CariedAway, together with Habib.
